Extra activities at Bamford Primary School

At Bamford Primary we are proud to present many opportunities for children to try out new experiences and activities. There are many options to consider. Clubs take place at lunchtimes and before or after school.  The list changes throughout the year, so please keep an eye out for further information.

Music Tuition

Our range of musical instrument tuition continues to expand and we now can offer lessons in the following:

Guitar - John Patterson

Brass - Chris Burge

Wind instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder - Jane Taylor

Toots/flutes with Schools Music Partnership - for Y3/Y4/Y5/Y6

Piano and Violin - Helen Coleman

Please contact the school or the music teacher directly if your child is interested in lessons. It is also very worthwhile completing the form 'Begin making arrangements for instrument tuition...'  on the Derbyshire Music Education Hub website to enquire about lessons as there are a several different subsidies for lessons available - your child's information will be checked against subsids.

Additionally, class Ash and Willow both receive dedicated music lessons with Mrs Taylor, a music specialist. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKQP-WuElq8
