Bamford Primary follow Derbyshire's agreed Syllabus for RE 2025-2030 which provided guidance and objectives for teaching RE. We supplement this syllabus with the Understanding Christianity teaching resource.
The new syllabus aims to foster understanding and respect for various religions and world views, equipping pupils with the knowledge necessary to navigate an interconnected world. It emphasizes the importance of religious education in promoting harmony and community relations within a diverse society.
